Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios team up to bring players Magicka, an action-adventure that combines multiplayer sorcery and Norse mythology with Diablo-style hacking and slashing. Gamers take on the role of a wizard who sets off on a 13-mission journey through forests, mountains, and frozen hills to track down an evil sorcerer before he destroys the world. Up to four players can join in on the quest, combining elements to cast spells and unlock new items and "Magicks." Players can also unlock and take on "hardcore" challenge modes in which they must fend off a never-ending swarm of enemies in an attempt to earn high scores and climb the online leaderboards.
