I'm not going to fire up a debate with Roger Ebert over this, but Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP Micro is art. This point-and-click adventure is a near-perfect polyamorous marriage of brilliant 8-bit visuals, clever puzzle-solving, and an unforgettable soundtrack. I'm almost hesitant to call it a video game – although there is certainly a game to be played here. It's more of an experience, really. And while I know that's a potential death knell for gamers that just want to slingshot a few birds while sitting on the bus, I'm at a temporary loss for what else to call this.
